Managing Broker with Windermere Real Estate
I have been fortunate to sell many homes over the past 25 years in great neighborhoods, especially Ballard, Phinney Ridge and Greenwood. In addition to listing homes in our real estate market, I’ve honed my listening skills and have negotiated sales on behalf of both buyers and sellers. My tag line has been “the fun professional” and some clients have called me the “Mayor of Ballard” since I’ve sold so many properties there. As a top Seattle Managing Broker, I have enjoyed being part of the Windermere Family for over 25 years. With my mom Diane Lembo Talley and my husband Bruce Barnum, we joined the Greenwood office in the spring of 2013. We have a team approach that keeps everything running smoothly.
Educational Background – UW Graduate
I am a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in Communications. My emphasis in classes was always towards group activities, promotional ideas and marketing. The school of Communications was a perfect fit for my interests in how to find great ways to engage individuals, both verbally and in writing. Those skills have been a key element in my success as a managing broker with Windermere.
Activities that Define Liz Talley
My mantra has always been to enjoy the journey and have fun along the way. I keep busy doing client development activities that bring our community benefits & support. From coordinating Art Walks, to enjoying the community spirit that helps us all support the local Food Bank and Boys & Girls Clubs, you’ll find me dreaming up new events, bringing clients and friends together and enjoying every bit of it. At the Greenwood Windermere Office I have helped with our local art walk called “Art Up” and with my fellow musicians, I’ve had a wonderful time playing the cello at the Farmer’s Market and various events.
In addition to being a Managing Broker and local businessperson in Greenwood, I am a property owner with commercial real estate in Loyal Heights and Ballard. I am a local. I have lived in the area my entire life and currently reside in North Beach. When I’m not involved with juggling these activities, I spend time cooking, gardening, skiing, and playing the Cello.
