How’s our real estate market? Well, honestly, there is no inventory around here. All of these business cards were collected in 48 hours at my new listing at 5807 6th Ave NW – the house is wonderful and tons of agents should come see it and show it. When there is a more balanced real estate market, this is about how many cards we would be seeing at the listing after a week on the market, so the upshot is, there is not much for buyers to purchase right now. How that translates for sellers is very simple, the time to sell is right now. Lots of buyers want to purchase and they don’t have many choices. Rates are extremely low so monthly payments are very affordable. Optimism about the local economy is strong. Rents are rising which can also bring more buyers into the marketplace. Finally a well presented, well priced home is extremely attractive and with Spring in the air, even though it is still the middle of February, everyone is excited to go touring. If you’ve been thinking of selling, now is the time.
