Something for a UW Student

Every now and then one of my clients has a daughter or son who is planning to attend the UW and they have asked me if it is better to have them stay in a dorm, rent in shared housing, or consider purchasing a condo while they are attending school.  When you can buy a condo for under $150,000 I believe the condo purchase is the way to go.  My mom and I just listed one for $148,900 at the corner of Sand Point Way & NE 70th Street, which is close to the UW campus (bicycle route is half a block away on the Burke Gilman Trail).  It’s modest, just a one bedroom one bath unit under 700 Sq. Ft. with a parking spot, storage unit, bicycle storage room and it’s very clean and move-in ready, and most importantly it features this delightful pool which is so wonderful during the summer months.  If you bought it you would appreciate the comfortable setting, good quality of living in this complex, and when it sells next time, there’s likely to be a profit that could be a nice down payment on a sweet new house.  For more info get in touch with me and I’ll share all the specifics or look for this listing 7001 Sand Point Way NE #B205, at www.windermere.com.
